Easyvest changes the communication and reference format of its portfolios: explanations

In order to guarantee optimal service to our growing number of customers, we are implementing a new, more efficient portfolio reference system. Here are the answers to the questions you might have about it. If in doubt, do not hesitate to contact your Wealth Manager.

FAQ

What is changing?

Your Easyvest portfolio reference changes from a 2-letter + 4-digit nomenclature (ex: FL1234) to a 12-digit nomenclature (ex: 123456789012). You do not have to request this change yourself: it is done automatically.

Where can I find my new portfolio reference?

Your new portfolio reference has been communicated to you by email. You can also find it by logging into your Easyvest mobile or web application and in the emails and portfolio status reports sent at the end of the month.

Why this change?

Given the significant increase in the number of customers, we reached the limits of the old nomenclature. The new nomenclature makes it possible to integrate structured communication (+++111/1111/11111+++) into payments instead of free communication. Thanks to structured communication, payment processing is faster and more secure.

What will change for me?

For every payment on your Easyvest portfolio, you will now have to use structured communication with your new portfolio reference. During your interactions with our teams, you will also be asked to mention this new reference.

When will this change be effective?

This change is effective immediately. Please use structured communication for future payments and save your new portfolio reference so that you can consult it quickly and easily.

What happens if I make a payment with the old reference?

Don't panic: payments with the old reference will of course be processed, but manually. The payment will not be refunded to you and your money will be credited to your Easyvest portfolio with a small additional delay. If applicable, we will remind you to use structured communication with your new portfolio reference for your next payments to speed up processing.

Can I continue to use my old reference?

Preferably no. But as stated earlier, any inattention on your part will have no consequences.

What should I do if I have a standing bank order to regularly transfer money to my Easyvest portfolio?

Please amend the standing order notice to include your new portfolio reference in a structured format. This operation should only be performed once.

What should I do if I have a supplementary pension plan with a standing order?

Nothing. Communication is automatically adjusted.

What should I do if I have an automatic add-on programmed into the Easyvest app?

Nothing. Communication is automatically adjusted.

What should I do if I have a plan that pays out a periodic annuity?

Nothing. The annuity will still be paid into your usual account.

Will new portfolios still have a reference number in the old format?

No. All portfolios opened from now on have a 12-digit reference.

What should I do if I have other questions?

Contact your Wealth Manager by email or phone, or contact info@easyvest.be. We will respond as quickly as possible.
